Gold Rush – Web
When I started working on Gold Rush, it was already an existing PC game. My task was to rewrite the design document for this game so that it could be remade as two webgames. The idea behind this was that we would serve two audiences: the casual gamers and the more hardcore games. Each design needed to be tailored specifically for that purpose.
Both games ended up getting a few different versions. The hardcore game is focused on skill-features, while the casual game is more focused on time-investment.
